KIASMOS “JANUS DJ SET”

Kiasmos is made up of Icelandic BAFTA-winning composer Ólafur Arnalds, author of a unique blend of minimal piano and string compositions with electronic sounds, and Janus Rasmussen from the Faroe Islands, known as the mastermind of the electro-pop outfit Bloodgroup. The two musicians discovered their shared love of minimal, experimental music while working together, at the time when Arnalds was Ramussen’s sound engineer. They eventually became best friends, often hanging out in their studio for hours, exploring electronic sounds.
